Face lift almost complete

Posted in Blogging, Blogs I Frequent, Links to others, My Face Book, Personal Updates on January 9, 2010 by Lee

Most of the face lift is complete here on my blog. A few more adjustments to the sidebar and some updates on my flickr page and it should be complete. Now I just need to get in the habit of posting again.

I have started a new blog. You can find it here. This blog is dedicated to student ministry. I will definitely need to be more disciplined to keep up with it. Check it out and let me know what you think. (You can also find it in the side bar.)

And let me know what you think of the new design here as well. Both blogs have a subscription opportunity. Subscribe and stay up on all that is taking place in my head and across campus.

october-2008-fam-pic-by-cozart Here are a couple of recent family pics. Our friends, Laura and Slade Cozart took these for us. They are based out of San Angelo and would love to help you with your next photo adventure. I highly recommend them. You can find their website here. The sight showcases their work.

A Historic Day – Our Response

Posted in Culture, God's Will, Links to others, Mentions of other Post, Prayer, President with tags , , on November 5, 2008 by Lee

This election was going to be historic – no matter the outcome. We would either see our first black president or our first female vice-president.

America responded with record numbers in turn out and they spoke clearly – Barack Obama will be our president.

If Barack Obama was not your choice of canidate for the office, what should your response be? I found Dr. Mohler’s post very helpful. I hope you will check it out.

What are your thoughts?

Preach the Gospel to Yourself?

I am a big Jerry Bridges fan. I would have to say he has been one of the most influental authors in my life. I have read almost every book he has written (I am a couple behind right now – including his new one: “Respectable Sins”.

Tim Challies post about some of the content of the book – it is worth the read. Check it out HERE!
